
Pudsey Town Hall
Built in 1880 as Pudsey Mechanics Institute, it was opened by the Prime Minister's son Herbert Gladstone. It was here in 1905 Pudsey's first secondary school was established before the building became the town hall when Pudsey received its charter in 1912. It now houses Pudsey One Stop Centre and council offices.


Worlds End
Despite appearances this is the newest pub in Pudsey and has only been open since 1983. It is however housed in some of the oldest buildings dating back to the 17th century. It has lots of original features and has regular live entertainment.
Butchers Arms
Originally at the edge of the town centre it was first used as a beerhouse in 1870 and rebuilt in 1880 to to comply with new legislation.
Booths Yard
Originally called Hammerton Fold it got its current name from the Booth family who used to own the grocers shop there until 1983. It is one of the many folds that used to be in Pudsey and the buildings date from mid 17th century to late 18th century
Trinity Chapel
Trinity and all Saints Church was opened on 1st May 1899 and cost £7,700 and was Pudsey's most expensive church at that time. It ceased operating as a church in 1982 and is now a café, nightclub and base for Pudsey's Citizens Advice Bureau.
Black Bull
There as been a pub on this site since 1803 but it was rebuilt after World War II.
St Lawrence & St Paul's Church
The church was built in 1821 at a cost of £13,360 and it opened in 1824. Services are held on a Sunday at 9.00am, 10.30am and 6.30pm and on a Wednesday at 6.30pm.
Pudsey Library
Pudsey Library has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It has 14 computers available for public use and a good local history section run by Pudsey Civic Society open for viewing on a Friday morning 10.00am until 12.00pm
Pudsey Market
Although no longer in market square Pudsey has a vibrant market three times a week selling a wide range of goods. Its current position is sheltered from the elements and self contained
St Andrews Methodist Church
Built in 1901 to replace an earlier chapel and Sunday school in Hammerton Street
Pudsey House
This use to be the Pudsey fire station. Pudsey had a hand operated fire engine from 1832 until 1867 when it was replaced by a steam engine, although it was till horse drawn. The building is now used as a community resource and a number of different groups use it throughout the week.

Leisure Centre
The foundation stone for the original Pudsey Baths was laid by King George VI and Elizabeth the Queen Mother in April 1928. The current leisure centre has been extended but the pool is still in its original position.
The Junction
Built on the site of part of the old orchard belonging to Pudsey Mayor House a in 1837 it became a pub in 1847.
Pudsey Park
Pudsey Park was first opened to the public in October 1889. Today you can relax with a leisurely stroll around the tree lined parkland.
